So I know that right before break we already posted the new Cut Copy Boyz Noize remix, but soon after, Terrorbird sent us the official new Cut Copy EP for the single Lights and Music. Yes, it’s all over da blogs, and yes, you might already be listening to it nonstop, but it is epic and therefore deserves a full post.

For those who don’t know, Cut Copy hails from Melbourne Australia, the cultural, sports, and now indie dance capital of the country. The group is made up of Dan Whitford (lead vocals/keys/guitar), Tim Hoey (bass/guitar) and Mitchell Scott (drums). The new album In Ghost Colours is scheduled to be released sometime this year. According to the Cut Copy blog (where you can also pre-order the full album), “It is a trans-galactic voyage featuring epic synth breakdowns and more than a sprinkling of Goldsworthy magic.” Wow. I can’t wait.
