WRMC 1980

In the thick of finals week, pre-graduation jitters, and the sweet sorrow of see-you-next-September goodbyes,  May 12th, 2014 seems like a lifetime ago. But just under a week ago, we, your trusty WRMC DJs, gathered at 98 S. Main Street (more fondly known as The Mill) to count down the biggest and best tracks of the 2013-2014 school year. If you weren’t there turning up and getting down, well, that’s on you. But hey, there’s no reason you can’t recreate the night dancing in your underwear or your sunday-best, on your bed or in your kitchen, alone or with your entire crush-list. All in all, a killer year in music. Thanks to concert co-chairs Aaron Slater and Arnav Adhikari for bringing their best Samuel T. Herring impersonation, budding dancer Chad Clemens for his stunning performance during Chandelier, and GM Ben Goldberg for thoroughly convincing the entire constituency of voters that Gun  is the anthem of the year. After six hours and eight minutes of dancing, we’ve yet to grow sick of the hits. So, throw this playlist on repeat and keep the jamz flowing all summer long. Until next year, xoxo.
