As my time at Middlebury comes to a close, I wish to take a retrospective journey on the radio waves. Combining storytelling and music, GOAT Talk offers listeners a peek into the cobwebbed corners of my mind.

Giovanni’s Room explores the dimensions of gender and sexuality as manifestations of self-fulfilling, egotistical performance. As an homage to Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin, Emilia (the really cool hot DJ) will further explore the cultural propensity to distinguish and label “otherness” according to colonial visions of sexuality via the eroticization of female and subaltern bodies. In reality, I would have been named Giovanni if I were born a “boy” and I just really want to live that Italian dream. In this space, I am Giovanni. And the studio is like my room for real.
