Our memories make associations between seemingly random things: Blur’s End of a Century and eating lunch at a diner in 2008; The Namesake and laying on a stolen mattress in a friend’s childhood bedroom. Every show, we talk about one song and how it’s associated with memories, books, emotions, and other songs. We’ll cover everything from the songs that remind Div of metro cards and Delhi streets to the songs Swara uses to hype herself up before visiting a professor’s office hours. Tune in to listen to us share the soundtracks of our memories.

When my father was in college, he had a friend named Russel. Now Russel was a star runningback on the team and had lead them to many great victories. But on this fateful day Russel flubbed the play so badly that the coach gathered everyone together into a huddle, turned to the poor downtrodden boy, and yelled “RUSSEL, YOUR HEAD IS FULL OF ROCKS, PEBBLES, AND MEATBALLS!!” Why anyone would say something so destructive so such an impressionable young soul is beyond me. If you want to listen to music that makes you feel like Russel did during this moment, music that Russel would never listen to, and music that helped Russel out of his great football slump, tune in!
