We here at WRMC know that your music taste isn’t one-dimensional. As much as we love to show off those retro rarities and B-side tracks, we all fall victim to the occasional 2010s mix, party classic, and sing-in-the-car hit. Everybody wants their music taste to be cooler than everyone else’s, but on this show, we welcome a tasteful Britney Spears chart-topper just as much as a Pink Floyd deep cut. Please enjoy a collection of our favorite aux-worthy gems, alternated with those guilty pleasure gold mines that “ruined your music stats”

In the search of new music? Me too. In “Fish Out of Water” I will explore songs I have very recently discovered (and enjoyed!). I will never be playing a song that I know much about. But, I hope by the end, both you and I will have many new songs added to our playlists! Let’s jam out in these uncharted waters of music together 🎣

Fooly and the Burtons is an English rock hard poetry group know for their self pioneered improvisational squawking called (burtóning). Sometimes they play music but only on days ending with day. First discovered by Columbia records for the Columbia motion pictures department, they got their rise by creating a rap track to the autobiographical short feature film “2tone” about the deep depression Tommy tutone fell into after he realized his only legacy is a song about a stripper who didn’t love him in a public restroom.
