Hosted By: Moss Turpan
Genre: Classical
Time: Saturdays, 3:00-4:30 pm
Description:
Paul Nelson, professor emeritus of political philosophy, is the director of the Middlebury performing arts series. He has been called “one of the most respected and knowledgeable presenters of classical music in the entire business.” Moss Turpan thinks Wolfgang Amadeus is a cool name, but other than that, he knows almost nothing about classical music. Paul will choose some of his favorite pieces from a lifetime of listening, while, through discussion, Moss attempts to learn about the genre.
