Music has the ability to transport people to a certain place and time. We want to explore this evocative quality by returning to the sounds of our childhood summers in Mexico, Nicaragua, and the southeastern US. More broadly, our show will center around the theme of “saudade,” which, in Portuguese, means “nostalgia for the present.”
