The only real uniting factor of ‘indie’ music and the multitude of genres it contains is that they all come from ‘independent’ record labels. In that regard, tune-indie is as independent as it gets. So independent that this show doesn’t even conform to playing ONLY ‘indie’ music. That’s right. Here, the rules I made are the rules I’m breaking because I’m living my last year as a teenager being a rebel. The genres I play are as varying as the varying genres found within the umbrella of ‘indie’ music. You’ll really never know what you get. Thrilling, right? So tune-independently on your own time, listen, don’t listen, relax, don’t relax, dance, or go ahead and fall asleep. Independence is truly a beautiful thing <3.
