The Studio
We opened our new library studio in the fall of 2018 in order to host live sessions and recordings in the station. Often, bands will come on their way to Burlington or before concerts on campus and record several tracks in our studio. We have an older, 1970s recording style set up with high quality mics, a Fender Bass amp, a Fender Blues amp, a Line 6 Digital Modeling amp, and standard jazz drum set with kick, two flying toms, one floor tom, a snare and full Zylgin cymbals.
We also work with the New England Review to produce audio of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and anything in between that is published in their quarterly issue and recorded in our library studio.
We also are always looking for new organizations to partner with in this space. Contact wrmc911@gmail.com or mirkwood.group.llc@gmail.com if you’re interested in using our professional studio for any type of audio recordings!
