so its been some time since the last W.W. Wednesday but we’re back with some fresh selections for your listening enjoyment. lo-fi, folk, math rock, post-punk, house, hip hop, lions, tigers, and bears….oh my!
Qwel & Meaty Ogre (Freezer Burner) – nerdcore for pale white kids that major in computer science. not that that’s a bad thing.
Talib Kweli (Eardrum) – i kind of think talib is huge tool, and i know he sucks live, but this song is genius.
Counry Cousins feat. UGK & Raheem Devaughn
Muscles (Guns, Babes & Lemonade) – australian gospel techno. its epic, trust me.
The Bumblebeez (Prince Umberto & the Sister of Ill) – more dirty dance rock from modular records.
Prefuse 73 (Class of 73 Bells EP) – Prefuse 73 meets Battles drummer John Stanier. Math Rock ensues.
The Class of 73 Bells (Radio Edit)
The Jaguar Club (Ceci N’est Pas Le Club De Jaguar) – hipster boy sings like morrissey and channels joy division. awesomeness ensues.
Little Wings (Soft Powr) – for 3:29, Kyle Field will whisper sweet nothings into your ear. you will love it, too.
The Death Of A Party (The Rise & Fall of Scarlet City) – loud, fast, angst-filled SoCal post-punk.
The Fox & The Hound
S.K.I.P (Autobiographicology) – ridiculous album title. ridiculously good album.
SomeBright feat. Mauikai
Mr. V feat. MISS PATTY (Da Bump (Part Two)) – french touch + german techno = happiness. merci beaucoup emmanuelle.
Da Bump (Âme Remix)
