Finally, the day you’ve all been waiting for is here! Today, WRMC’s summer programming goes LIVE. Tune in at WRMC 91.1 FM within our service area or listen using our online stream (top left corner of our website). WRMC is very proud of its summer programming. Unlike most of our peer institutions, our schedule is made lively in the summer months by the presence of Middlebury’s famous Language Schools, whose students pledge to conduct all aspects of their lives entirely in a foreign language — including broadcasting on the radio! If you speak a foreign language or would like to hear some music from other nations and cultures, tune into WRMC this summer. We’ve got programming in Spanish, Italian, French, German, Hebrew, Russian, Portugese, and Chinese.

But it’s not all foreign languages. WRMC offers lots of exciting English-language programming, too! Keep up with the latest WRMC faves with Scoops, get your electronic fix with Clicks & Stares and/or How To Be A Werewolf, get a dose of retro soul fun with 8 Bars Of Soul, learn about contemporary Latin American music from all genres with Sabor Latino, chill out to the folk strains of The Garden Party or rock out (hard) with No Alternative. It’s all there this summer on WRMC 91.1 FM Middlebury College Radio, along with a variety of other shows, from indie rock to eclectic mixes, all hosted by DJs new and old, chatty and reticent. Early birds, night owls, and everything in between.

You can find the schedule on our Schedule tab above, or here. The summer is a great time for student and community DJs to try out a radio show without the pressures of school to distract them from the level of commitment WRMC requires, and consequently the schedule is always open to new additions throughout the next three months. What I’m saying is, be sure to check back regularly! Maybe something just to your taste has joined our exciting summer roster….

Lastly, don’t forget to “like” us on Facebook — we update regularly with music news, info from the station, silly pictures, fun new jams, and more. We’re on Twitter, too, @wrmc911. Follow us!

Looking forward to broadcasting to a radio or internet stream near you starting this Sunday. Here’s to a great summer!
